We need your support.

With very limited resources, UMKR has made a major impact in the United Methodist Church.

Groundbreaking divestment and boycott actions by the UMC would never have happened without UMKR's advocacy AND the extraordinary partners and allies who have worked with us and supported our efforts.

If we are to continue advocating for Palestinian rights throughout our international denomination, we need your support.

Delegations with Community Peacemaker Teams

Multifaith Peacemaking

27 September - 9 October 2023
This delegation will be led by a Pastor

and a Rabbi, where we will focus on

direct action and support of Palestinians

through our diverse faith experiences. We will help families with shepherding, provide protective presence and accompaniment for Bedouins and Palestinians in the South Hebron Hills, and support the CPT team in al Khalil/Hebron by joining checkpoint observation and community patrols.

We’ll have the opportunity to build relationships with community members, share stories and meals, and discern together as a delegation ways to further decolonize our thinking and our belief systems. No matter your background or experience, join a delegation and get ready for great conversations and opportunities to work in solidarity with the Palestinian community.

Olive Harvest
3 - 15 November 2023
Olive trees are a symbol of Palestinian resistance and permanence on their land. The olive harvest season brings Palestinian families together and reminds them of the importance of defending and preserving their homeland. Join this delegation to learn how the Israeli occupation makes the yearly harvest harder for these families, and also experience Palestinian joy in the communities in H2 and the South Hebron Hills.

Also as part of this delegation, wander through Jerusalem’s alleyways, visit refugee camps in Bethlehem, participate in a special Palestinian tour of the Ibrahimi mosque in Hebron, and eat Kanafeh Nabulsi. You will meet Palestinians of various religions, including Muslims, Christians, Jews, and Samaritans and learn of their shared stories of collective liberation.

You will live and work with the CPT Palestine team, joining us on our tours and family visits, and participating in school monitoring, documentation, and partnership-building. We will learn together in undoing oppression sessions and focus on its centrality in the movement of solidarity, peace, justice, and a free Palestine. No matter your background or experience, join this delegation and get ready for great conversations and opportunities to work in solidarity with the Palestinian community.
