Palestinian Christians are asking us to come and see.
We will come.
The tour will depart for Tel Aviv on April 16, 2018 and return on April 27th.
(Registration deadline is December 31, 2017)

We will see.
We will visit many of Christianity’s holy sites. We will sail on the Sea of Galilee, renew our baptism in the Jordan River, visit the ruins of Capernaum, tour the Separation Wall, visit Qumran the site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, view the ancient city of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, walk the Via Dolorosa and much more.

But more importantly…We will listen.
Our Christian brothers and sisters are asking us to do more than come and see. They are asking us to listen to their stories. We will hear from Archbishop Elias Chacour as he talks about the plight of Palestinian Christians. We will learn of the impact of Israeli settlements as we visit with residents of the village of Wadi Fouqueen. We will hear from the staff of Wi’am, a conflict resolution center. Other stories will come from the staff at Sabeel, the staff of the Aida refugee camp, members of Kairos Palestine, a rabbi working with human rights and Rev. Dr. Mitri Raheb, pastor of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bethlehem.

Cost: $1,750 - $2,000 (Depending on the size of our group). Single supplement is $550.
This cost does not include airfare (currently running around $1,400), drinks at hotels and restaurants, all personal expenses and mandatory UMC insurance.
